Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice continues to be one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making massive paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual confrontation, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
